The numbers are with 2 gallons of gas. My stock car with a full tank was 3225 lbs.
That's why I say that a 997 GT3 with the extra weight on the body, plus the sunroof and a full tank of gas (now 17.7 gal) is going to hit the scale above 3,300 lbs ( unless you order PCCB). The extra theoretical 415Hp (doubtful) won't be capable to move the 560 lbs heavier car faster than my car.
My CCW 1-piece wheels were using center caps that I adapted, but the solution didn't work. I took the center caps out.

MJSpeed, careful shopping for a 360CS especially if you plan on abusing it at a track. I have two friends that are looking to sell their CS's in SoCal because nearly every event they had to drop 5-30k to replace broken parts. A few events lead to catastrophic failures. Ferraris are beautfiul and have mystique, but they seem to lack Porsche reliability.

Porsche intend to build more GT3s and supply to a wider audience; opportunity cost is engines will be more 'mass-produced'. 'Mass-produced' meaning 997GT3s probably won't see the conservative underrating of power figures that the 996 engines saw.

I think that the dynos will show the true.
A 35Hp increase on the same engine by changing the throttle body, playing with electronics, modifying the exhaust, raising the redline, is kind of optimistic.
The 997 GT3 Cup is rated at 400Hp, while the latest 996 GT3 Cup was rated at 390Hp. All of a sudden the street car is 15Hp more powerful than the race car.
I just believe that the 996 GT3 380Hp are underated, and the 997 GT3 415Hp are on the spot, or the 996 GT3 380Hp are on the spot, and the 997 GT3 415Hp are overrated. I don't think we're going to see a 35Hp difference between both cars.
The test results posted by AutoBild showed a 997 GT3 as fast as the 996 GT3. The test was done with cheater tires (Michelin Pilot Sport Cups), 3220 lbs with no sunroof, and no U.S. heavier equipment. Expect the U.S. version to weigh more than that.
A supposed to be 3075 lbs GT3 with 415Hp should be running much faster acceleration times. Especially when using sticky and wider tires.

You don't think that 996 GT3 engines were mass produced?
