Im the first one to admit that my skills can exceed nothing this car has to offer stock. I’m just trying to stay OEM…a thing I decided after getting my PCCB refurb vs the clearly more advanced ST.
I’ve pretty much stuck to it other than Dundon and Ti caliper bits. I’ve slowly been doing 4.0 upgrades and will eventually end the journey with a SW 4.1 one of these days.

Have either of you had to rebuild? I remember that coming up when I was researching for my old car that the TTX was a fair bit more maintenance intensive than the road and tracks were. Curious to know if there is actually any truth to that

I’m starting a complete suspension rebuild on my 7.2 non-RS; after much debate on active vs 2/3-way passives, I went with Tractive + DSC from TPC. Will take a few weeks to receive parts, swap them in, have the car set up, and finally get it on track…but will have many thoughts to share once done!
FWIW the overwhelming majority of feedback I found/heard on the Tractives was strongly positive (whether on our platforms or other e.g., ACR), and Tom at TPC has been very supportive so far. Complaints I noted were mostly on the personal preference side - e.g., preferring ***** for adjustability vs. software. I realize this isn't OP's use case but in back of my head I think actives may be the only way to have half a chance keeping up vs. the newer metal - short of dedicated trackside support anyway

I don't have TTX's on the car. But if I were to purchase a setup, I'd probably get TTX's. I had 2-way Ohlins motorsport (LMJ, MCJ) setup (remote reservoir) on a previous vehicle (Audi). I did have them serviced several times (~$250 per corner), which is a PIA due to the fact that the car would be down for 1-3 weeks at a shop during the removal, rebuild and reinstall process and occupying a lift for the duration (labor costs for R&R). As far as service intervals it is highly dependent upon use (track time vs street time). My understanding is that the TTX can run longer intervals in comparison to my previous Ohlins setup. It is interesting that you don't hear too many people on RL talk about service intervals on MCS, JRZ or Ohlins. I'm not sure if people just aren't driving/tracking enough or perhaps these newer setups are less prone to wear/maintenance. It's difficult to improve upon an OEM GT3 setup without more compromise.

It’s definitely a dilemma, seems almost too easy to run up a bill on Hinz website with PFC calipers, brakes, 3-way’s, tarret arms/links etc… I feel like I could go crazy getting the “best” all the way around, but I know myself and all that stuff would be back on marketplace in a few years.
So in this hobby car I’m just trying to see if I can scratch an itch and still stick to the best of a generation, so most everything on it is from 2011… except maybe the CDs
That’s what’s been making me hesitate on the SW 4.1, it just doesn’t feel quite right since I can’t go back.

This is what you should be getting. Front shock, internal reservoir TTX36. Rear shock, external reservoir TTX46.

Should be an awesome setup. I'm jelly.
