Great thread! Love the speed yellow. I seem to be coming to the same conclusions with parts but lagging behind haha.
Reviews of the valved side delete and oem muffler? I currently have non-valved side deletes on factory SS muffler. Sounds fantastic at the track and when I want to ring it out. It would be perfect if I could eliminate the drone from the 2500-3000 rpm and drop a few db during cruising.

so day to day fine for me. I have the valves plugged so they’re open 24/7. Easy to just plug in when you want it quieter and when the valves are closed it’s pretty damn mellow. I’d def do it on way to and from a track day etc. pretty quiet with them closed surprised me.

strange can’t seem to embed videos anymore.
And enjoyed a nice drive in Malibu.

some kind of sanding. Was around $200. They’re like 500-600 each new. I didn’t need them perfect but def brought them back to life and look great. He did say it was a bit more laborious than he recalled 🤣. Did great with the interior bits too.

the alignment feels good. Moves well. Good balance. I had toe out up front before and was very darty and playful but would oversteer way too much under trail braking on track. Yeah 996 just has a bit of a smaller feel. I love my 997 but 996 is a bit more playful.
