This!!! What a difference to the driving experience. Excellent upgrade. The stock wheel is in storage for the next guy some day. My Cup Wheel is on a quick release from Rothsport, so it's also a great security feature when away from the car. I do look purposeful when strutting into the Cantina with wheel in hand.

The stock wheel is great too, but from a driving perspective, the smaller Cup Wheel is transformative!

I just refreshed all the touch points (and a few other things) in the interior on my 997.2. Feels like a brand new car.

- CF pieces replaced with a mix of MACarbon and DBCarbon
- Added new sport buckets with Ed Guard bolster covers
- New shifter + boot
- New handbrake
- Swapped the Alcantara steering wheel for the appropriate leather wheel

Where did you get the Alcantara Carrera GT seat covers?

Shifted to this. Not a fan of alcantara for wear points since they "wear" too much Already had smooth leather factory sport wheel. Next stop is the parking brake handle, then I think I'm good

Ryan - looks fantastic. Did you previously have that same shifter and handbrake? Or did you upgrade to the carbon version?

Joe
I effectively added the following options to the car:
  • P03 (Sport Bucket Seats)
    • Porsche part number: 997-044-805-05-FLC
    • p/n: 997-044-805-06-FLC
  • 841 (Three-spoke Sport Steering Wheel with Smooth Leather Finish)
    • p/n: 997-347-803-E8-A34
  • EZA (Interior Package Carbon: Cupholder trim, partial gear lever, partial handbrake with GT3 logo)
    • MACarbon for these parts. MA will silk screen the cupholder icon on the trim, DBCarbon does not. Both company’s carbon matches each other.
    • p/n: 997-424-980-94-A15 - Carbon Handbrake w/ GT3 logo
    • p/n: 997-424-075-92-A15 - GT3 Alcantara Shift boot and ****
  • MJ (Rear Center Console Carbon)
    • DBCarbon for the console

@cbracerx , is that MagSafe charger strong enough to hold a phone while you're driving?

It is. I have the Pro Max so worst case. But it won’t work on the track!

@ky_gt3 were you at San Mateo cars & coffee a few weeks ago? I recall a black GT3 with a sequential shifter and a really dope interior.

@Breakthru Yep that was me, I am guessing you were in the white and black .1 RS parked next to the white 991 RS? It was my first time at the San Mateo C&C

I like my sofa seats in my GT three, I don’t really need the GT two buckets for my kind of use, has anyone bought regular sofas and had the centers done in a tartan, like this
