Looks great. Especially love the non-chrono dash on these cars.

but reading from some UK forums, it’s the same wheel across the board for the 991, and anything else later on. Part number I provided was for a 997 specifically, even though it’s the same wheel the PN changes for each car so it’s possible it’s cheaper by varying vehicle. Probably why Suncoast only charges $1400 for it

I know someone running them in a 7.2 Turbo S.
Had Pole Positions in his GT3.
I didn’t go that route because they are just a bit too wide from my exp in prior M3s. I was all over the place in canyons and decided the Pole Piston ABE would be better for me personally.

Vivid Racing in AZ has a few options of Sportsters in stock at a pretty reasonable price. I was talking one of their sales guys the other day.

The sport design fits the interior so well!

Ilko,

Were the CF side and center air vents original? If not where did you get yours? Looks great!

They are probably from MACarbon. They do great work, much better stuff than Porsche OEM.

After a few weeks waiting on parts I got the Recaros in.

- Recaro Pole Position ABE in Vinyl/ Dynamica
- BBI Seat mounts
- GT2 Bucket extended seatbelt receivers

The ABE seats are only available from Europe venders as far as I can find.
Despite people thinking they are a "wider" seat, they only bow out where the receptacle is so that you can properly route it through the hole.
So for anyone looking, you will fit the same in an ABE seat vs the FIA. I know from personal experience as well since I have had other sets of FIA pole positions.

I bought the vinyl seats for 2 reasons over the leather
1. The leather is more than double the price, for less than the quality leather and stitching you'd expect. My last set being full leather I was not pleased at all with the quality.
2. Vinyl seats have RECARO painted on, not embroidered. I knew I would be removing the ostentatious RECARO logo.

Some nail polish remover wipes, SEM color coat, and a few hours later they look dang good.

All in with my GT2 buckets sold for $9k, these seats and rails for a total sub $3k I am very happy.
The Pole Position looks very period correct, is extremely comfortable, and the value prop over the GT2 buckets is great.
I find them much more comfortable than the GT2 seats as well as not sweating wear and tear.

Heres some photos compared to the interior with CGT buckets.

They look slightly more reclined but they do look like a great match for the interior

They definitely are more reclined. But the bases allow for a big range of adjustability for the rear angle. I’ll likely pull them forward a little bit.
