Are they basically sold out everywhere? have not been able to find them. Suncoast sells the porsche branded ones for a decent price but I would love to find the bosche ones that cost like 8 dollars a plug.

A search just now shows it's practically impossible to find them

Interesting ... I recently got some from rockauto. I guess next time I will have to pay the porsche tax.

 

on my last plug change, I bought two sets (@ $8 ea). My wife hates it when I do that. Thanks for the fodder. I'll let her know.

Interesting. Is this shortage due to COVID supply chain disruptions, or just not supporting that model spark plug anymore?

 

I just found the plugs on eBay-description was weird but I contacted them and they confirmed they're Y5DDC
I suggest buying one set only, so others here can also get some. Seems they now have 9 sets only.

At least according to Pelican, it shows the Genuine now as Denso. The picture shows Bosch, but the description/title says Denso. Denso 3179. Denso XU22EPR-U.

I ended up just buying them through suncoast. 150 for 6; not terrible to be honest. Wonder if the porsche branded ones they sell are bosch or denso.

 

Well, the eBay vendor sent me a refund, they didn't have the plugs
Maybe someone else can find a vendor, I did an extensive search-it would be interesting to find out from Bosch why it was discontinued and when will a replacement be available-
