Default 997.2 GT3 RS Dundon D4 Race Power Package

I have 2010 997.2 GT3 RS and just upgraded to the Dundon Race Power Package which includes:
  • Race Headers
  • Race Muffler
  • Air Box and intake Manifold with 100 mm TB
  • Race Tune
Stock and Upgrade pulls on the dyno tells the story. Gain of 77 whp and 41 wheel Torque gains. The graph is misleading for the before install as the file didn't pull the actual pre install numbers.

Before install: 278 ft lb at 3900 rpm and 392 hp at 8200 rpm. All number at the Wheel.
After Dundon install: 318 ft lb at 6500 rpm and 467 hp at 8600 rpm, @ the WHEEL Numbers. These numbers are just amazing for a 997.2.

The big advantage is anything above 4000rpm all the way to 8600. Just pulls all the way and the car screams.

The next big upgrade is a 4.1 L stroker kit. Stay tuned. The goal is another 75 - 100 whp and 50 - 70 Wheel torque GAINS. I do plan on changing the ratios on the tranny to better suit for Track use. It does have Ohlins and other many upgrades. This is a Track focused CAR.

Throttle Body and tune is the gains! Pretty neat. Enjoy.

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing. Have you driven the 991.2 gt3/rs and how do they compare with your new found performance? Do you plan on doing the sharkwerks kit for the displacement increase or other?

Thanks for posting James!

The secret sauce here is the Resonance intake manifold and exhaust working together.

if you get a chance a dragy 100-200kmh or 60-130 would be awesome but only where it’s safe!

Just used 105 Race gas on the beast and this car should be illegal to own. Damn it's so responsive. Jamie at Dundon suggested upgrading the gear ratio to tap into this crazy power. That is my next upgrade before stroking to 4.1.

thats great! The peak “after” torque appears at 6500 rpm? “Before install” torque peaks at 3900?
What’s the torque at 3900 “after”?

It's on the Dyno graph. All I can say is that it screams and seat of the pants push comes around 4000 and pulls all the way to 8600 rpm. Money well spent. It ain't cheap but worth every single cent.

Graph looks like torque peaks about same rpm before and after (6000+) Hard to see which line is which. Great gains on both hp and tq

Seems like the best way to make power if you don't want to do a 4.1 conversion.

Good luck with that!!! ...seems an amazing project you are up to!!!
I don't think that your power goal you state is logical because the quoted numbers at Sharkwerks site are after tune and exhaust... ...so I think that a gain of 40whp is more logical. With 15% powertrain loss that will equal to 580hp!!!

2 questions:
467whp on what fuel?
Jamie suggests doing what to the gear ratios, shorter than factory RS or more towards standard GT?

seems a bit hard to believe you made 70+ whp more with this package, but if you did, congrats!

Depends on usage, but essentially taking everything "down a gear" and adding one is a good way to think about it. Gear swap isn't necessary, but is fun!

This car would make over a dozen that have seen gains like this... Including 996 Gt3's...

What would the DPP do for a 997.1 RS?
