Serious question and I don’t mean this in a cynical way as I have no reason to doubt your claims, but why would Porsche leave 75 hp on the table? Do they not have the technology or expertise to tune an intake and exhaust to produce the same power numbers that Dundon was able to achieve? I mean a 20% power increase is simply massive. Why did Porsche not do this themselves?

What gas/octane is being used? Are the before / after dynos using the same?

Planned obsolescence (ensuring the next car has more power than the previous one...)
I get this question a lot...
"Porsche knows everything, why didn't they make my street car a 919 hybrid race car with 1500hp" or the like. Yes absolutely Porsche knows how. They chose not to do it. Why, I can't answer that.
The fact we spent the time and energy required to help make these wonderful modern classics relevant power wise versus they're 991 brethren means James get's to enjoy his car even more.

I read an article once about the GTR where they said one of the reasons nerf it was they actually want to encourage the secondary market. Having strong companies like Dundon around only helps w/marketing/sales/PR and promotes the next generation power.

Just ordered Dundon Street Headers for my 997.1 3RS. Pairing with OEM rear box. I do have a Sharkwerk's Xpipe that I might try and pair with as well. Will post review after install.

I'm running Dundon headers with an RSS center delete. Sound is glorious. The street headers not setting a CEL is a lie though. I've had one since they've been installed. Dundon has half assed a few solutions, nothing has worked. They've just wasted my time and my mechanics time.

I ran the old V1 version of their street headers for about 2500 miles.. had a CEL issue one time and never came back after I cleared it (and I passed NYS inspection with all ready monitors). Running their V2 version of the street headers now with the full D4 power kit.. can't speak to no CEL as I'm running the required map but boy does this thing boogie. Could never justify buying a 4.0 now. Car is a monster.
