might have happened a few times? it wasn't the source of the engine failures though. connecting rod through crankcase is why they all got extended engine warranties.

Yeah, the head failures, etc. But PCNA did address the oil rags as the cause of fires-

Live and learn. Now mile up that oil so you did not waste your money when your next service is due.

My shop charges around $225, oil used can vary price a little.
