RS is hard to downshift
Very different from s2k I used to drive
when I downshift, rev goes down much more slowly in s2k
for RS, the rev goes down much faster... probably bc of smfw
Any tips for newbie?

Tough to describe things that you wouldn't normally think much of and do subconsciously, but it sounds to me like you just need to do the downshift and throttle blip/rev match a bit faster. That's all.

I find these cars to be some of the easiest to rev match. The fact the revs go up and down so fast helps me. If I tap the throttle I’ll bump the revs 1-2k. If I push the throttle all the way down and release I’ll get 3k+ higher. Usually enough for the lower gear. I cruise between 2-4th gears on the back roads. Personal opinion, but I believe driving between 60-100mph is the most fun while being somewhat safe. Go drive more and you’ll get the hang of it like everyone said

Keep driving. Not “hard”. Lots of enjoyment to be had between second and fourth, occasional pop into 5th... but that’s high speed.

And to think I could have had one of those. Love the look of the 991 GT cars.

rev also goes up much faster on throttle blip.
