Waxer, an idea to consider or avoid depending on how you look at it:
I bought a CGT a few years ago. Since then, FGT, Spyder and 997rs have all left my garage (none of which I ever assumed would).
But, that's silly to point out right as your 997rs arrives. Enjoy it; you will love it and it's one of my fav cars ever. U can worry about a CGT consolidation years downs the road

Took her out again today. Becoming apparent this is a real driver’s car. Raw, very involving, visceral and yes a “classic” RS at this point. To get her to perform as she is capable you must get things “right” and that’s mandatory. Becoming clear she won’t suffer fools. Real Old school.
I am beginning to see why these are more and more recognized as the RS high water mark.
Perfect.

I forgot I even had this picture of your car Waxer. Thought you might want it if you don’t already have it.
This was taken at by Isringhausen several months ago. I just edited the photo slightly so it was more focused on your car.

The CGT and FGT imho are among the most epic cars of all time. I’ve never been fortunate enough to have an opportunity to drive a CGT.
Being a Shelby/Ford guy and lover of the Ford GT40/FGT and their legendary history in the world of Motorsports I can’t ever see myself without an FGT.

Your photo skills clearly exceed mine. This one came out decent though. I found it hard to capture the gold tone of the wheels as it’s subtle. Not like the Arrum color of my ‘19 RS wheels.
