Does anybody know what the differences in these two wings are on the non RS GT’s and how they attach to the uprights on the decklid? I was wondering if the bolt on wing and upright adapters that APR Performance sells for the 991 can be adapted to the 997.2.

Are you talking about RS? non RS are completely diff.

 

On the non RS GT3’s.

 

100% sure not compatible...The upright on the 7.2 is part of the trunk

 

Aren’t the uprights on the 991 non RS GT3 also part of the decklid? It is apparent that the uprights are different in shape and size.

 

I’m pretty sure those 991 GT3 parts won’t fit the 997.2. I hope someone makes a similar type of adapter for the 997.2 GT3 to allow the use of a larger rear wing. Right now, our only choice is to use the RS decklid and wing. The parts are expensive and the RS decklid requires changing out the airbox, too.

 

Yeah, I was hoping that there would bean option to
adapt a larger wing by now, but it’s probably not likely to happen unfortunately.
