New-to-me 2010 GT3
Quick post that I will update once I have a chance to really look the car over and get it cleaned up...
This is the 62k mile car that was for sale at Dick Barbour Performance. Arrived in San Diego yesterday and I picked it up from my mechanic today. Was able to have him go through the car for me and it was as expected and even a little better given some nice part upgrades I discovered and comprehensive maintenance records showing some big ticket items taken care of recently. Still no evidence that the car has been tracked, even to the trained mechanic's eyes. This is my 7th GT3 (have owned three 996 GT3s, two 997.1 GT3 RSs, and another 2010 GT3 that was actually a much new and more highly spec'd car than this one) but I have been away from GT3s for about 6 or 7 years.
Only had time for a short drive today but the car absolutely rips. Very clean and tight.
Immediate plans are some new Michelin Cup 2s, some Pagids and brake fluid flush, and aggressive alignment. Unlike the previous owners, I plan to take this car out where it belongs at least a few times/year.
Very happy to be back in a GT3.
Anybody have any ideas who's signature that is under then hood?
Happily put to bed next to my originally-owned '88 Carrera (both filthy right now)....

Congrats. Always nice to see cars driven and not hiding away in a garage

Thanks to all. I'm pretty fired up. I'll post up some better pics in the near future. Fun to follow the other threads of new-ish owners as well.
Still wondering about the signature???
