Default New shoes

The cup2’s that came with the car when I bought it have had enough. Decided to try out the Michelin Pilot A/S 3’s. For the driving I do around town and back roads. I could not have been more happier with these tires. I was very surprised at the grip difference in the wet between the Cup2’s. Night and day.

Colby at the Les Schwab of Milton did the work. The only Les Schwab that would take on center locks👍🏻

Why would you choose the Pilot A/S 3's over the Pilot S4S? I do have a set of both in my household on different cars but the PS4S is on my GT2 and it's what I consider a 'magic' tire as it does the impossible.

did you verify they correctly torqued the wheels? before I converted to 5 lug, I had to swap my CL wheels a few times. it's a pain and most shops don't follow the correct procedure.

car looks great! cup2s on the street in WA would be "exciting" haha

100%
They have a torque wrench that goes to 700#
he tighten them with the axle not under load. Held the brake pedal down while using the wrench. The car was on jacks. And doubled checked when the car was back on the ground to the correct torque. Drove the car couple hundred miles and no issues. The cup2’s I had were border line slicks at this point.

Les Schwab had these in stock in the size. No matter which way I went it was an upgrade. I thought the car was good on the old tires. These not only grip better at colder temps. I feel like are overall they have a softer ride. The interior noise seems to have gotten quieter too. I like the chunky treads look too, gives the car a more classic look in my opinion

I have stopped by les Schwab and they have confirmed all the lugs are on to the correct torque after I’ve driven 100 or so miles👍🏻

you are likely not going to have any issues driving around on the street, but it's worth ensuring it is done correctly. note 7.2 and 7.3. most shops will just torque the wheel on the ground and call it a day

Colby at Les Schwab did exactly this 3 step. I was in the car holding the brake pedal down. He had it set for 444ftlb on the wrench

Are these tyres available in 325/30 X 19 ?

I can't see that they are, so you've put a smaller sized tyre on the rear, are you going for the winter sizing recommendation ?

I don't want to 2nd guess you but I would 100% suggest calling Right Away Tire next time. They are head-and-shoulders above anyone else and deal with Porsche CL's all the time.

That seems like a very versatile tire for WA Fall and Winter. On dry roads, the lower grip would make the car more playful and allow you to feel the car moving under you at lower speeds.
