Ultimate Driveway…..GT3/911S/RUF…..Triple Black
Hello Everyone,
My apologies for no recent posts, but I have been super busy in my garage workshop to escape the pandemic. It was a beautiful Sunday morning today, so I couldn’t resist pulling out the cars (now that they are all running perfectly) for a little photoshoot in my driveway. Unfortunately, I don’t get to keep all of these, but it was nice to have them together in residence for a short time. The 1969 911S belongs a friend of mine and is leaving today as it's new owner is arriving from CA to pick it up and drive it home. I will be keeping the GT3, however the 1998 RUF Turbo R (1 of 14 “WO9” factory car) will have to go shortly, likely to auction.
FYI: The GT3 has been totally ignored (but will get some TLC soon), the 1969 911S received a full detail (inside and out) and very minor repairs, and the RUF received a full mechanical refresh with the help of some of the very best engine and transmission builders in the business.
Enjoy!

.... A ha, you are a performance aficionado, like me!
....You are right....all unique in their own right.
.....It truly was a beautiful morning for photographing black cars, and I had two hours before the gent came to pick up his "new" 69S.....
.....Yes, I love my Forgelines! Indeed, the 997 GT3 is a Porsche pinnacle car, and the RUF Turbo R/CTR2 are perhaps the Porsche pinnacle for air-cooled turbos (tied with the factory GT2, IMHO).
. Yes, the classic RUF 5 spoke is one of my favorites too, for street wheels. These are new RUF Forged 19s (8.5F/10R) with 245/285 Michelin Supersports, the same wheel and tire combo used on the infamous 2016 RUF Turbo R Limited (only 7 cars made by RUF with 620HP)
. Thank you, I felt like I should be sharing instead of hiding in my garage with them. My RUF Turbo R has a rumored 520hp, I am looking forward to finding out, once the engine is run in progressively.
