Just replaced with a painted console from @Eric - Plug Guy

Wow! It really sets off the interior. Old one needed replacement. Quality is top notch and install was a breeze. While console was out a good time to replace other worn items.

Looks great! Technically speaking isn't the filler panel underneath the handbrake suppose to be gray plastic, like in the OEM option?

 

I believe you are correct. The OE option had that piece unpainted.

I think it looks much better painted to match. Never understood why Porsche left that little piece bare.

 

Normally it would be black plastic.

I had four areas painted to highlight the interior and I thought some of these same parts were done on cxx


cars, instrument surround, shifter surround, door pulls

 

Your painted console looks awesome! The only minor drawback to the painted filler plate I could see, would the potential for scratches from pulling the parking brake over time or putting things on the filler plate that may slide around. Nice compliment to your RS!
