WTB: 997.2 RS, the time has come....

^^^ 11 painted in 2010, and another 4 were painted Aqua in 2011. So 15 total in all of North America.
Then of the 11 from 2010, there were only 5 that had the PCCB's, ... and of those 5, only one had the paint-to-match seat backs like mine with yellow belts & yellow stitching on the full leather (all the way into the back of the car too),
I absolutely love looking in the back area of my car & seeing the combo of Aqua Blue paint on seat backs plus yellow stitching on the leather. For some stupid reason that just really makes me smile. But of course yes I agree that the huge smile on my face when I'm driving, is never because of those little option details. But whoever specc'd the car new, definitely had my spirit within them when checking the boxes.
But yea, it felt like finding a needle in the haystack for those that year+ when looking (every single day). I think I may have just barely beat out Doug on the car too,... cuz I literally bought it within 36 hrs of it going up for sale (the previous owner had passed away a year prior & his son finally decided to trade it in),... and once I arrived (12 hours from my home) and I had given the check, I was just sitting there with the Sales Rep waiting on their paperwork, the Rep said to me,... "well, when I got in this morning I had 5 calls on the car, 2 of which are dealers that I do business with on a regular basis, one of which said that if you didn't buy the car, he wanted it sight-unseen". Then a week or so later, Doug ping'd me here & said he knew I had bought the car. 10,465 miles.
anyway,.... a few interior shots for posterity....
Good luck with the continued search cosmos. It is definitely worth the wait....

After a few missed opportunities, (one of which I’m still hopeful for), the search continues.
Here are my absolute wants: Aqua blue, no chrono, buckets, full leather, silver or yellow stitching (no red inside) and my would be awesome to have PCCB, no FAL and prefer gold/silver or no graphics as at all. Relatively low mileage.
Thank you all!!

Have you checked with Doug regarding how many cars actually exist in that spec?

You can run it through pors9 with the options and it should get you a number of how many cars there are. If those options are your must haves you could be looking for a while.

Aqua and no chrono alone will make this search very difficult.

Pretty easy to do the "no graphics at all" option: pull em off.

Same goes for changing the color scheme. It's pretty cheap and there's no penalty for it. Gold, red, black, whatever you want.

I haven't seen anything a decent paint correct wouldn't take care of.

The red belts and door pulls could be easily changed.

There are more than a few. Doug is trying to secure me one and I almost had another one, but unfortunately the exchange did not happen.
I’m remaining optimistic and hopeful. I know exactly what I want and having that focus I believe is better than just broadly searching for any RS.
I know the car for me is out there.

Same here. All my former 911s had full leather (and back seats, lol) but somehow when I found my GT3, the plastic dash didn't bother me at all. The Gt3 is more of a track car so the plastic dash kind of goes more along with the minimalist theme.

Now this being said, IMO there is nothing more beautiful in the auto world than a TT S interior draped in leather. Stunning, and oh so very nice on a tour with the Burmester laying down the tunes over the soft hush of the turbo'd engine. Different function, different car.

Honestly, I don't even know if I have full leather. Shows how much I care
