I called them to do my wheel but they couldn't do it without adding thickness, which i didn't want.

I had them recover a wheel a long time ago, that wheel has seen a LOT of use, and, whatever micro-suede they use wears much better than the Porsche stuff, the wheel still looks NEW.
At the time I had them do a thicker pad, but after driving my 964 a lot with a momo wheel that is really thin, I actually prefer the thinner feel, it 'feels' more tactile.
I've thought about sending it to them to recover again in as thin a pad as they can....
They do nice work, I've also had them recover some other interior bits on my car, basically 'leather delete' :-)

Looks awesome with the matching green stitching! They did my wheel with the RS yellow stripe and it has held up very well.

Congratulations on a great wheel upgrade!...money well spent indeed!...in my estimation, exactly how GT wheels should have come in the first place and with no price markup...almost surprised that Stuttgart has not figured out a way to offer this as an option on their wheel after the fact [and possibly they have?], perhaps with an embossed "P' on it to make it "official"...and then of course charge 6-times what you paid. Now if there only was an inexpensive way to properly address the cheap looking silver plastic spoke thingies! Bruce

I also just installed a Dallas Customs recovered steering wheel in my car last night. They are very nice! They have a bit more squish than stock, and they feel excellent in the hand.

Ahh, that's the part I didn't want. I like to hard feeling of the skinny wheel and the squishness is the part that I thought adding padding would produce.
The green wheel on the frog looks amazing though.
