McIlvain pinned the lines on my 997.2 GT3. Does great work, no complaints. I'm in N. Scottsdale, so it's a bit of a journey for me, but will return to him when I need future work done.

Thanks. Went and met with Scott yesterday. Looks like I will probably be taking the car there to get it worked over.

Thanks for the offer, but I probably won't put it on a track more than 1-2 times a year. So will do that with the normal tires and wheels on the car.

Question for someone with mechanical knowledge. Have the car apart doing the pinning, clutch and new diff. Was offered two different options on the guards diff. One is the pro version with billet housing for $2700 vs the internals only replacement for around $1950. Does it make sense to spend the extra or not? Thanks in advance.

if you don't track HEAVILY like 30+ days a year, the internal replacement is fine.
BUT have you seen the billet casing? I would pay just to look at it for 5 second.
you wont see it once installed. but that 5 seconds was worth 700 to me.
all my GT cars have guards LSD with their billet casing

Figured I should update this thread. Got my car back a few weeks ago from McIlvain Motors. Ended up doing the whole list and then some. This car is fantastic! I would recommend Scott McIlvain in a second. They do fantastic work, know the cars well and are fair priced. Here are some pictures during the surgery.
