Default Looks and sounds normal?

Hello!
Just wondering if these things are normal for a 997.1 gt3. I have a bit of oil right before the MAF... and an arrhythmic growl in the exhaust note. It’s hard to hear in the video without earphones.

I did some browsing and found an article mentioning vacuum leaks in the crankcase or intake manifold (pelican parts) I did the oil cap test and I cannot hear a difference in the arrhythmic growl with the oil cap on it removed.

Any thoughts? Does anybody have a video in how the engine sound/rhythm changes when the oil cap is removed?

Thank you so much!

I also found a bit of oil there when I was working on my car recently, take a look at my post here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...l#post14944706.

I cleaned it all up with some throttle body cleaner, looks like yours could do with the same. I can't say whether it's normal, but you're not alone at least.

code.monkey, thank you for your response. I did the same. Cleaned the MAF and the oil in the rubber hose. However, did not change the arrhythmic rumble.
