I monitored the temps via OBD2 water temps never cracked 190 on some mixed traffic/vigorous driving for 30 miles

no coolant in oil; no oil in coolant

the coolant fix was done at matrix integrated in portland by previous owner

Changed the cap, preemptively.

Did a glove test on the expansion tank, nothing there either

Car should be running hotter than 190.

Not near water pump. Water pump as you are looking down on engine from top of engine bay (lid open) is bottom left corner of the drive belt.

So, you are getting seeping at the head between head and block.

Best case this is coming from top and seeping down. Could be at the oil cooler elbows maybe? Or ? pull off the air filter, and get in there with a mirror, check it out.

Worst case is the head gasket is seeping

Latter will be spendy.

I had something like this on my 996 GT3 track car. We looked all around using a boroscope and could find where it was coming from. It would only leak when ran on track and was so small it was difficult to spot.

We pulled the motor (I own a shop, so easy enough to do) and found it was the hose under the intake at the top of the motor. The clamp had somehow managed to go a little sideways and had started to cut into the hose and it had a very small leak as a result. It was on the bottom side of the hose which explains why we couldn't see it with the scope.
