sorry I’d like to clarify that I don’t own the car, it just popped on a dealer’s site and it caught my attention.

The little piece of plastic under the parking brake handle is known as "the banana". It pops in and out without tools, just pull it up. It is a cheap (for Porsche) piece if plastic, so you can put custom switches / fittings / readouts there, and easily go back to stock. There on the tunnel, there is easy access to the dash and center console, also back to the engine compartment, so it is great for a variety of uses. On my Cayman, it had the switch to turn the Accusump on and off. Based on the iPhone wires hanging out of the console, I would guess it controls the playback volume for an iPhone.

I had a similar switch in my 997tt albeit in the arm rest, it was for EVOM's dual maps, 91 and ***** out 110oct

Could be wired to anything aftermarket, from seat vibrators to flux capacitors
