Well done. Looks great.

Now you need a set of lightly smoked, gold frame Porsche Aviators and a cigarette.

Was thinking of doing the same thing but with Houndstooth. Were you happy with both Sierra and Pacific Auto Trim?

Can't speak highly enough of Sierra Madre. Super responsive to any questions I had and also cancelled a second order, no questions asked, a week or so after I placed it, as Pacific Auto Trim initially told me I needed more fabric than the 2 square metres I originally purchased but later told me it wasn't necessary. Issued the refund immediately. Phenomenal service.

Pacific Auto Trim was also good. They called me in at the beginning of the job to go over the pattern with them and decide the best way to lay it out on the inserts. Cost was a fair bit less than I was expecting, though the job did drag out for nearly 2 weeks. Luckily they only needed the passenger inserts so I was still able to drive the car, which was good given the amazing weather we had. I'll likely have a houndstooth set done next, though I do think this scripted jacquard fabric run diagonally would look really cool as well:

Looks great!

Does Porsche sell cushions so we can keep the originals intact or did your upholster make cushions?

I tried using Heritage Upholstery, but they ended up taking several months and in the end could not finish the project.

My upholsterer made these cushions, but you can also order a set from Carnewal.

^^^^ Do you think that the Germay sourced Pepita i any different from the standard Houndstooth? I see that one can order the Germany sourced stuff for an additional $300.

The German sourced Pepita is a close replica of the original fabric, and is 80% wool / 20% polyester. The "classic" Houndstooth is 100% polyester - which is very durable, and also very comfortable. Both fabrics are scotchgarded for additional durability.
