glad the PPI identified those issues for you. wonder if that is what ended the last "sale pending" on that car. if SF Sports Cars is aware of the PPI findings and not disclosing that is pretty weak.

good luck in your search!

Yepp. I'm the opposite of flashy, and I like to blend in which is a part of my affinity for Porsche over Ferrari or Lambo. Bright cars aren't my thing, and whatever the discount is isn't worth it as it would cause me to drive it less.

That is unless it's like 20k and I could just drive it solely to and from the track or something, but my answer above assumed a 10-20% discount which would not be worth it to me.

Both fenders / hood / bumper / clear bra to cover it up / no disclosure. That sucks, you had to spend money to realize that. I would find another car.

Clearly, the integrity of the seller is at stake here for not being upfront with me (how could they have not known?), but alas, this is the car business after all.

The question here is, should I move on or try to negotiate a steep discount and if so, what would be the 'right' price?
Thank you!
Well because of how low they sit and the angle of the front end they do take a good amount of road rocks and chips in those areas you mentioned. And a darker car like grey they would show up more. Maybe just that it had chips and somone repainted it and put on the wrap? Obviously if seller knew they should have disclosed regardless.

This one looks pretty good and more importantly from a reliable source -

The mechanic that did the PPI now recants his accident report, saying he had mistaken dirt trapped under clay treatment and clear bra with signs of paint imperfections indicating a possible accident. I will get a 'second opinion' plus a written statement from the seller who states the car is clean.

Take a portion off. Have a detailer remove, inspect, and reinstall whatever the smallest piece is. That would be worth the piece of mind to me and should only cost a couple hundred bucks.

That's actually a brilliant idea. I will try to do that!

These cars either have paint chips or repaint choose your poison

All of them have peppered hips unless they were bra'ed from the moment they came off the boat

I'd price accordingly and not stress it
