Default Porsche 911 Twin Turbo Carrera

why is there white smoke coming out of my 911 twin turbo porsche??? Could it be that I lent it to my friend who hadn't driven a stick in a while and he did something to the engine??

Does it go away pretty quickly after startup? A quirk of the 07-09 Turbo engine is that if you run it hot and hard and shut it off without a bit of a cool down, there can be some puffs of white smoke at startup. The solution is typically to let it idle for ~20-30 seconds before turning it off.

Air oil separator going bad? When my AOS failed it produced embarrassing amounts of white smoke.

Does the smoke smell like burning coolant (sweet maple syrup type smell) or like oil? If coolant, that could be a leaking head gasket. Oil smoke, because of the flat 6 configuration, oil can leak into the cylinders and some smoke can emanate upon initial start-up but should then go away.
