I'm wondering if profiling the edge with an electric router and a round over bit would make it look even better than it already does. One might also be able to shape it like, say, the splitter sold by Go Tuning that another poster referenced. Then again, maybe the ABS plastic material doesn't take well to either. Might be worth a try.

Yes.. that is connected to the mud flap. There are 2 screws on the bottom. I took one out, bought an extended screw (in the parts list on the 1st post) and used it to pull the splitter right up to it.
To your point, it slopes down just a bit in the back. I think it makes it flow better but you could remove that piece if you wanted.

Wouldn't the width need to be different for WB vs NB? And the WB side sills may not have the same hole alignment since that entire side of the car is a different welded piece on WB vs NB.

I agree.. my guess is this will only work on a nb.
