Porsche 997 carpets -
What's hot? I'm looking for a little driver/passenger carpet refresh - could go OEM I like them but wondering if we have any cool choices - wouldn't mind something a little different...

Had them in for over a year......
Word of the wise! Have them matte clear wrapped with the thickest vinyl you can find. It will make them less slippery and they won't get scratches!
Have them on both sides including the foot bolster area.

Inpelle leather floor mats (have these in my 997 and 928) or Autopreme (have these in a box waiting to be installed into my Cayenne Turbo S once the widebody conversion project is completed).

I actually have a spare, brand new set of the black leather Inpelle ones I bought for my wife's 2005 997 C2S with Bose, but I think she wants to stay with regular carpet mats. Let me know if you're interested and I'll figure out a price.
I also have a set or two of brand new OEM Porsche stone grey ones if you're looking to break up the black interior a bit. Goes well with the other silver and volcano grey trim, especially with the adaptive seat backs. (RUF tags not included).

Look like custom Lloyd's mats, but I'm not sure they can do the Porsche logo on them anymore, unless they've renewed their contract with Porsche. For their custom mats, you could pick your main color, border color and what and in what color you wanted to appear in the middle of the mat. When I was looking for mats, I wanted PORSCHE or the crest and in the past only Lloyd's could do these, but couldn't any longer - that was a few years ago though.

Sounds like a terrible idea....as you mentioned they are slippery. Xpel on them...even weirder idea.
They are track mats, meant to keep your interior carpet from wearing out and getting messed up when you are at the track. I put the OEM mats right on top until the next track day.
