@johnnyfive- I ordered some around Xmas time on a special buy. they arrived timely, but if you are looking for response back from customer service side and tracking number they are very weak to respond. Just my experience with CS issue. Installed new ones and look great!

Has anyone tried a full swap from this seller on eBay? Looks nice, same price point and eliminate the hassle (potential danger) of dismantling the entire AC console:

Finished my switch replacement from climarepair over the Labor Day weekend. Easy process and looks so much better. Before and after pics.

Default AC Controls affordable solution!!

I am usually a lurker on this site and spend way too much time reading the quality material from all of the regular contributors.
I had seen a few recommendations for Rockauto as a good reliable source for parts, so thought I would visit their site. (I have No association with Rockauto) I just stumbled onto "Climate Control Push Button Set" and was a little surprised to see a price quote of $43.79 per set. So I ordered one set to see if they were any good. Delivery to Canada took 8 days. I am very happy to report that the quality is great. Not the problematic soft finish that rubs off the OEM switches but a nice flat black. I could not easily rub off the finish from the rear legs, so I expect them to be a great solution. I will install them in the warm weather next summer.
Just thought I would share this find.

Default Affordable Solution!

First thing first, I am adding this with the intention to share my recent experience as a contribution to Rennlist community. I do not have any affiliation with the aftermarket part manufacturer or distributor and you will have to take your own risk if you decide to follow my path.

My well cared for Atlas Gray 2006 C2S was in excellent shape and annoyance-free until climate control buttons started to peel off at the exponential rate within the last 18 months. I tried permanent markers, paints and even Sugru (moldable glue) but nothing seemed to help. I looked into replacement buttons but I couldn’t justify myself spending over $100 for relatively cheap-to-manufacture parts while existing buttons were still functional.

Last week, I came across the aftermarket climate control buttons on AutohausAZ site https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/143211...RoCJoQQAvD_BwE while I was placing the order for other parts. They are made by URO Parts and reasonably priced at $49.99 for a set. Although they are not cheap, I decided to give it a try since I am already saving the shipping for buying other parts. I was able to install them this week and here are my observations:

Size – Almost identical to the original buttons except “TEMP” font is slightly larger

Material Feel & Look – Definitely not sticky and they look the same as other buttons on the climate control unit

Installation – No issues with the buttons; replacement was done in less than 30 minutes with the help of installation videos on YouTube

Operation – No difference from original buttons

All in all, I am really happy with URO Parts buttons and I have attached the pictures of the climate control unit and my C2S cockpit for your reference.

Cheers!

Found the same thing while ordering other stuff from Rockauto, recently. Got the same thing, also to Canada. Looks good, just waiting for free weekend time to install. Here's hoping.
