Thinking of upgrading my 997 to a 991. Pricing on my 997?

Search should get you lots of opinions. In a nutshell, it's bigger, more GT-like, slightly less steering feel, etc etc, etc. but if that's the direction you're looking to move, people who have bought them seem to like them - only a few have sold them and come back to the 997. If you like the more visceral, sportscar feel of the 997, there seems to be a little less of that in the 991.
Hard to give you an opinion without more detail but it sounds like a good buy. GTS are nice cars and GTS cab are rather uncommon.
Good luck.

Whoops, yes - thread title said 991. GTS's are the best of the 997 lineup not considering the GT or Turbo cars. If the colors, options, pricing and ppi are good, why not?

997 GTS is a great car; all the desirable options and those beautiful wide hips...Has as much power as the 991 C4S too!
The first time several times I saw a one that lives locally assumed it was a GT3.
Prices are kind of all over. This one just popped up for under $60K.

this thread title should read "UPDATING" and not "upgrading". They are both a 911. One is newer than the other and may have some better features, but relatively speaking it is not an "upgrade" it is the same class of car as it was before (unless you are going to a GT3, but that title would read differently as well).

Wait, I don't see anything about a GTS until 1 1/2 pages later than the initial post. But then there is something about "cab" in there, which takes the "upgrade" in performance (power to wt ratio, structural rigidity, etc... and throws some of that out the window (or the top).

Ha, No photos yet. Maybe tomorrow after the PPi. I know not to get too excited anymore.
I went through 3 PPI's before I bought my 997. Hard to keep emotion out of buying these cars.
Thanks for the opinions, I appreciate it. We will see how it goes.
