Pirelli only choice for 19" 4S winter tire???
I've never been a fan of Pirelli and it doesn't seem the right choice for a true snow tire after reading others reviews.
I went to buy some Dunlops today and fronts are on back order nation wide until January!
I'm looking to stay with the P recommended sizes:
235/35 19
295/30 19
Is Pirelli my only choice now are am I missing an alternative brand? Would love Blizzaks or Nokians but they don't make one this big.
What's everyone doing for new sets this winter? I need real snows because I'm in the country east of Philly (borderline Pennsatucky) and the plows are late a lot of days.

When I shopped it was between the two you have listed because I wanted OEM fit. I ended up with the sottozero's due to them being a sportier tire and a all purpose/winter vs a winter only tire.
Nokians are in a size close to OEM, but make sure the diameter is close as your all wheel drive can get messed up if off between front and rear.
Have you looked at 18" sizes? Cheaper tires and then you could keep a set mounted.

I have the Pirelli's in sizes 235/40-19 and 285/35-19 (bought them used on Victor Zehn rims - they were take offs from a 991). I've only used them one winter but they worked really well with only one hill I couldn't get up - it had been polished to a really nice smooth icey finish by other cars spinning their tires on it. I just backed down and went another route. I'm pretty impressed with how well they work. I've had Blizzaks on other cars and I'd rate these right up there. By the way my 997-2 is my year round daily driver.

I would go narrower if I could get away from the pirelli's. I'll check out the Nokians slightly smaller size but will definetly research it so I don't F up the AWD system. I'm guessing I'm going to be buying some Pirelli's.

Nokian has the right size for the fronts but rears are slightly off At 295 / 30 R 19. Plus they are studded which is too extreme for where I live. Not sure if they are legal or not. Didn't look at 18" sizes so maybe that's an option.
I had Nokians on my S4 in Cleveland, OH and they were great.

Fair enough, but I don't come from Dubai and I'm not an Emirati. I'm an expat currently living in Dubai and I come from Finland. I'm pretty familiar with winter tyres and I'm interested enough to have checked what winter tyres I might be able to get when I take my car back home with me.

@ChicagoSpeed996 Looks like you have an S. I was looking for 4S sizing in either 18" or 19".
Weird thing is even if I look for tires or tire package in S sizes, all Tire Rack gives me is Pirelli sizes.
