All of the OBD2 devices can clear the error codes. Going through make specific operations is beyond OBD2 spec and those generic readers may not be able to drive those modes. Testing PSM many not be the same as bleeding PSM.

Anyone know if the iCarsoft POR II is able to reset all types of service warnings. I saw videos showing oil resets with date changing (365 dsys) but others claim it will not reset other service warnings. Anyone?

What do you mean by service warnings? System failures/faults? It will clear all outstanding codes, which in turn cancels the warnings. Of course the warning will reappear if there's truly a fault and it hasn't been repaired. If you're talking about maintenance alerts, all the mileage-interval-based services also include doing an oilservice, so I would think it's the same routine to clear them. I never had the 40K or 60K service alerts show up on mine ('05 with 74K) so Idk for sure.

I mean 'Service Now' alerts triggered by time (up to 365 days) or miles. I hear that time warnings can be reset but wonder if miles can...

I purchased a iCarsoft POR II a year ago. It has worked just fine until last month. It will not activate, (nothing at all on screen), when connected to my 2011 Carrera GTS. It still works well on my wife's Cayenne. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new cable. No improvement. The OBD II connector in the GTS is pretty loose. I'm still under CPO warranty so I believe it's time for the dealer to take a look. Any suggestions?

Which simplest tool will just do Reset Service Reminder/Basic OBDII function + reads OVER revs without coding or extra fancy functions on 997.1?

The Foxwell is a great easy to use tool. When I get back from traveling I’ll post some screen shots of how it works.

I got this tool for my Boxster 986 and it has worked pretty well so for. Recently, I tried to check out the 02 sensors and could only receive data on bank 1. In regards to bank 2, the tool stated "system not supported". Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

It could be. I just tested mine and it was not pretty. It did reset the oil warning but ended with a series of warning failures on the Creader and the car's display. The car healed itself, but the experience left a sour taste. The CRVII goes back.
