That's definitely a nice car to be a poser in! However, I dare you to try and drive that car only 200 miles/month. Can't be done. No way. You might as well start finding Starbucks three counties over, reachable by the twistiest of roads. Trust me, the journey there will make your triple mocha java latte with soy milk whip taste even better!

Have you driven a manual 997 since getting your PDK and still feel like you made the right choice? I fooled myself into getting paddles with my last two cars (albeit they were BMWs) and they only lasted a year each. After driving a PDK 997.2 4S, I am extremely glad I went with a 6MT this time. Three pedals and a stick with rev matching/heel-toe is WAY more fun for me, even in traffic. Again, that's just me.

LOVE your color combo!

Thanks mate!

I test drove two C2S manuals (09 and 10). Don't get me wrong, I love a manual, but the PDK is just so dynamic and fun. You just can't get that capability with the manual. In a perfect world I would have one of each, but if I had to choose one, it would be the PDK. It's the most "connected" I have felt with a non manual transmission.

Buddy of mine had a DCT E92 M3 I drove on several occasions. Did not like the DCT at all. Just numb/disconnected feeling.

Beautiful car, love the color. Not sure if I could be persuaded to go the PDK route but glad you are lovin' it.

It's the Sports Chrono software minus the "Wart". Factory software from Porsche. It's a must have for PDK.

nice car, and welcome to the (Cream) club!

I had 2 manuals before mine, still miss it, but am thankful for PDK on my horrendous commute.

I shift my PDK manually 95% of the time.

By 'Wart' you mean the clock? Just confused.
So you did the steering wheel upgrade without issue it seems?

Beautiful car.
Enjoy!

Great color combo, congrats on the car! I'm in the vast minority here, but while I do miss having the 3rd pedal sometimes, my last 3 sports cars have been some form of automatic with paddle shifting and I find them plenty of fun to drive. I'm totally over the stigma of not having a true manual. I'm not saying I'd never get another one, but I am saying the transmission choice is not as important to me as it once was.

I must be one of the rare ones that also prefers the PDK as well. Congrats on finding that one.
