Exactly. No chrono clock, affectionately referred to as the "Wart".

Steering wheel is an extremely easy install. Literally took me all of 10 mins to do it. The longest part of the procedure is disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.

Here's a quick step by step:

1.) Disconnect battery
2.) Get a 4mm allen wrench and locate the hole on the bottom of the steering wheel. Push up until you hit the interlock to push out the airbag.
3.) Carefully slide out the airbag unit and disconnect the two electrical connectors on the airbag unit with a flathead.
4.) Disconnect the single electrical connector towards the back of the steering wheel housing with a flathead
5.) Locate the center mark on the steering wheel and draw a line with a permanent black marker to lineup the center position on the steering wheel axle (it is intuitive once you're in there)
5.) Now you will need a T55 torx bit to remove the center wheel bolt
6.) Completely remove wheel
7.) Carefully align the new steering wheel to the black center mark
9.) Install the T55 bolt
9.) Reattach the three electrical connections for the airbag (make sure to seat the wiring harness properly in the right side cutout)
10.) Snap the airbag into place and reattach the battery
11.) Enjoy your new steering wheel!

Thanks everyone! Just spoke with Darin over at Fister. Will be installing the Fister cans and the SharWerks Bypass hopefully sometime next week. The car is exactly how I want it, just need to get the exhaust sound right.

Will let everyone know if I encounter the rough idle.

Beautiful and rare color combination. The best of both worlds is to have both a manual and a PDK. Any traffic and the manual gets to be a chore. That said, I've become lazy and rarely use the paddles on the PDK.


I'm lucky enough to have one of each for the time being...

I'm ashamed to say I agree 100%, but flogging a manual is still good fun in it's own right. PDK gives you best of both worlds.

You aren't. I only wanted a car with PDK. It's just that the manual or nothing! fanboys (pathetically) just cannot let it pass that someone both purchased and enjoys the PDK without coming into every thread where it is mentioned and making some silly comment.

After driving and mostly commuting in DFW traffic, I can't ever imagine a manual in any vehicle I own.

I just don't miss the manual that much.
