Congrats! There are plenty of nice drives down in the Texas Hill Country. I lived there in the '90s and I really liked it.

Three Wheelin'
Forgot to mention the two skunks, jack rabbit, and great horned owl that scared the crap out of me in the middle of the night. Largely because it's VERY dark there (that's why the University of Texas has the observatory there), and every large bug in the largest county in the US (Brewster County) was committing suicide on my wind screen. Visibility was not great. The morning runs were MUCH better.

Thanks for straightening me out. I took the word of the Brewster County sheriff on that. I guess I should have fact-checked him. Although it could have been Texan hyperbole--we're kinda known for that.

Congrats! Beautiful car! Be careful if you decide to do some "spirited" driving around Blanco road, Specht road, Bulverde area, talked my way out of a 80 in a 40 traffic stop, got lucky. Running radar, lots of deputies in the area.
