Advice on badging/de-badging

Burning Brakes
My thoughts:
1. Keep it naked for a while and see if you like it after a few weeks. you can always reinstall the badging at any time.
2. Rather than the silver '911' emblem, I think I'd try '911' in gloss black to keep the badging somewhat subdued.

My car is Arctic Silver and the Carrera script was gray, which just didn't do it for me.
So, I removed it with the intention to put on a black '911'.
But, I happen to like the de-badged look, so haven't put anything on it yet.

Wasn't there a factory option to have the badge painted the same color as the exterior paint? That's an interesting way to keep the badge but make it a little bit more subtle.

I took off the Carrera S script and put on just the P O R S C H E on the back. Looks better to me. Thought about going naked but needed something.

I removed the silver carrera badge, debatched, and installed a gloss black 911. I was skeptical about if the gloss black batch would be too blended into the black car. After installing, I think it fit in pretty well, as I like the clean look.

I was forced into debadging by worn out adhesive on some of the original lettering. I ended up taking it all off.
I must say that I really like it without badges. Super slick looking and a million times easier to detail. I'd keep it clean unless there are blemishes from the old letters that you want to cover up.

3m double sided tape. Im sure Porsche has their own custom variant. But in the end its some sort of double sided tape cut to shape.
All of our cars are varying shades of white. The silver or chrome lettering looks good. The only deviation I would do is a RUF badge that comes with their engine.

I would be good with a car that was completely debadged, especially a 911/993/996/997/991-series car. Just about anyone looking at them knows it's a Porsche without the badging. The increase in badging just seems attention-whorish to me ...
