Default Exhaust for a 997 4S PDK

Hi guys

I just picked up a low mileage 2011 4S with PSE. I find the PSE far too mild even with the valves open. I want something loud but not compromising the Porsche sound.
I've been researching exhaust options online and i'm down to FVD (race or PDK), cargraphic (start with side mufflers and bypass) or Tubi. Don't like the AWE's.
It would be great if anyone on here with these systems on their DFI cars can help me out with clips and/or db test numbers as i can't seem to find anything on db levels anywhere.

I'm open to suggestions on other exhaust systems too. How are Scart exhausts? they sound pretty good, not sure of the build quality etc though

on a separate issue anyone know who else does the painted air channel trims (single blade left and right) apart from Techart?

Tons of choices here, and a lot of threads on this topic as well...

On my 2010 C4S Cab MT, I personally went from stock exhaust to PSE to Fabspeed Sport Headers and 200 Cell cats. I posted a thread with video of each iteration, here's the link: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...0-c4s-cab.html

I was looking for more than just a better exhaust note and hoping for some performance enhancements as well, so I opted for the headers and cats route and I couldn't be happier. The only problem is that I no longer shift below 4K RPM because the exhaust note under acceleration once you pass through 3,500 is SWEET

you can go easy on the throttle so neighbors don't fling squash/soju bottles at you, but around town, I play it brash.

cruise at 3k- 3.5k is also a sweet spot for sound. virile but not in a teenager way.
I had fabspeed side cans delete pipes when I bought car, and it was too damn loud. sure barked into life authoritatively tho! just too droney on hiway

Do you still have the stock center muffler?

Honestly, i didn't like the Fabspeed sound much. Therefore looking at the brands i mentioned. But i was hoping someone did a db test on them.

Check out the FVD. They make a set especially for the 997.2 with PDK. I have them on my C4S and I love the sound. No drone at all and great sound.

Maybe try a center muffler delete cross-over pipe from Sharkwerks. I have their cross-over and PSE on my 2010s and think it sounds great.

Let's be honest... those centre muffler deletes don't do much for volume. They change tone more than anything.

That kills it right there. Replace it with crossover pipes from Sharkwerks or Fabspeed and see what you think. I have the PSE SW setup now and like it better than the Tubi I had on the -09 C4S.
