Someone hit me
Was backing up into a parking spot and someone hit the left rear corner. The bumper seems to have collapsed in a little.
More importantly, it feels like the engine mounts are a bit dislodged or looser. When I brake and come to a stop, there is a thumping sound.
Who should I take it to? Auto collision place or independent Porsche shop. Obviously going to claim it through insurance as it wasn't my fault.
Any recommendations in Miami/coral gables?

Miami is the worst for driving / patience
take a minute and research, many high end shops down there, just went through this in LA, the other guys insurance should cover it and you can pick your paint shop

Call Parkhaus in Miami, they either have or will know of a reputable body shop. Luckily it was a crawling hit, not hard enough to affect the unibody crush zone whatever it's called. I once got rearended at an on-ramp in a 3-series Bimmer. It didn't look bad, just the bumper was down about an inch where it met the quarter panel by the wheel well, but the shop said $3500 to straighten the underpinnings. I put a bottle jack under it and raised it up and it held, then had to put a deep socket over the trunk latch pin and smack it with a sledgehammer so the trunk would latch. Drove it another 8 years.
I backed my 997 into a minivan once and had my rear bumper redone by a local shop that I had used before. But apparently they were in the process of changing ownership and they did a bad job. One day when I have enough scrapes on it I'll get it redone right. This is why I resist the temptation to get a classic aircooled.

Thanks everyone. Yes I am not so worried about the bumper damage, more so the thump/thud when changing gears or especially when coming to a stop. Are there any components behind there I should look out for?
It really seems to be in the corner, and the car is a 997.2 4s, so should have had a little extra room in that exact spot.

Drifting
Sweet baby moses that was a depressing thread to read.
Hard to believe a Porsche could sustain that much damage from a dimpled bumper.
In this thread the OP's initial post it looks like most of the inertia was absorbed on the exterior so maybe it isolated the internal structure.
That thread you posted shows very little external damage.
