Default Where to find a 997 roller?

Hello all! First post in this forum (but far from my first visit!). I've tried searches here and on Google but couldn't find answers to my question.
I am looking for a 997 roller (dead engine). A 2006-2008 Targa C4S, C4S, or C2S are my preferred choices, in that order.
Does someone knows where I can get one?
Some have experiences to share? I have a good, trustable mechanic with whom I plan to do this project.
Thanks,
Thierry
I'm currently an owner of a 1999 996 C4. Also had a 82 SC.

I would put feelers out with the local dealerships, LA Dismantlers, Flat6 Innovations, and keep looking here in the classifieds. I think by letting people know you're looking will keep you in mind when they hear of one. When someone blows they're engine and asks the dealer what to do, they'll say... I know a guy who'll buy it.

Thanks. I've already contacted Mr. Raby. As I am fairly new to this forum, do you think it is ok if I "bump" this message from time to time?
Also anyone aware of better terms to look for? Roller, dead engine, engine failure... What else?

Per forum rules, you can bump once a week, but for something like this, maybe every 2-3 weeks is more reasonable.

if you're local to any race tracks, might be worth the cost of a piece of paper and printer ink to post a sign there too.

Don't know your intent for the roller, but it might be more target rich in the 996 arena.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Yeah I intend to do that in the coming weeks. Know a list of popular indies somewhere?
