Unfortunately, only the Stealership can do the Nav installation, so I'm booked with the Porsche Exchange in Highland Park (I'm in Glencoe so it's just up the road). They said it should be $189. I drop it off Sunday evening as I head out of town for a few days so they can do it while I'm on the road. I also checked with Loeber Porsche in Lincolnwood who also quoted roughly the same ($185)...
Seriously? PE quoted me $800.....Loeber said they had never done it....I have an 09, and i can't imagine that makes the difference.
Let me know how it goes. Assuming all is well-i will order same.
Where to buy just the driver side briuhed Al illuminated door sill
My 2010 S Cab is awful clean and the passenger side sill is great. The driver side is a bit scuffed, but worse the Carrera S light is almost out (only the S shows). Suncoast does not carry a single side. The P dealer says they sell each side separately but not available for months (!)
Any leads out there, Guys?
If I could just buy the lights as an integral unit that might be ok, but a complete new driver side sill with light in place would be more fool proof.

hah! The dealer was wrong. I had not asked him to research it carefully since they were out of stock so I can't fault him for not knowing the dealer only sells pairs. Of course, it is the LH side everyone wants!

So I finally got these installed, and I LOVE how they came out .... I snapped a quick pic when I got home tonight (driving rainstorm here in Chicago this evening). While the photo quality ain't great, these look awesome installed! I'll try to post some better pics this weekend (when the car is actually dry and clean ), but here's a few photos taken as soon as I got home

Looks great. So did you do the install or have the dealer do it?

Nice job - they look great on your car. It's a small yet special detail and I would have added them to mine if they hadn't been included from the factory.

Thanks msingh, I really like the end result.... I had my indy do the install as I didn't quite trust myself with this project. I can throw on carbon fiber trim pieces on the dash all day long, but tapping into electrical systems and potentially removing the door panel was too steep a hill for me to climb on this one . Overall, the install took longer than either of us expected (close to 2.5 hours/side), but they came out great and work perfectly
After finally washing my car this weekend, here are a few better (and cleaner ) shots of my new-look interior. These look great in the light, but they really pop at night
