I have a 2006 997s with 35k miles also, was just offered $35k on trade sight unseen from a dealership, before any negotiating. It is a base S 6-speed black on black with NAV and Bose but no PCCB's, not full leather, no heated seats.

I paid $44,500 in May 2019 for a 997 Launch Edition with 20,700 miles. Car was nearly perfect but I have since changed the IMS bearing simply for peace of mind and will change the nasty PCM buttons next. My only grip is the thin steering wheel but that is easy enough to change.

I think low to mid $40k's for that car sounds about right. I didn't come across many clean Launch Edition '05's with low miles when I was searching. I would have considered one if I found a good candidate even knowing that it would likely need an IMSB.
I paid $43k for an '07 C2S manual, sport chrono, full leather, with 49k miles in March of this year. One owner, clean Carfax, although it's had some paint work.
I'm always perplexed when people state that you can get into a clean .2 with low miles for just a few grand more than a .1. I looked high and low for a couple of months, and still look from time-to-time (I'm subscribed to the "Deals around the Interwebz" thread) to see what is coming available. I'm no expert, but I thought I got a good handle on the market of used 997's earlier this year when I was actively looking. If you want a manual, a clean .2 C2S with no accidents and average mileage is going to set you back $53k-$55k in my estimation. Even base .2 C2's are going for at least as much as a well optioned .1 C2S. I guess one thing to consider is how badly you want a manual transmission, as the .2 MT's are hard to find. I definitely wanted a manual and the other goodies that an S has to offer (lower stance, bigger brakes, more standard features, etc.) so I ruled out base .2's, even though the performance numbers are similar.
If I was still in the market, I would certainly consider the one you're looking at and just factor in an IMSB and clutch into the cost. Good luck.

You guys realize that you're responding to the OP in a 3 year old thread, right. He either already owns the car or his boss has been considering selling it for a really long time.

If that number is a real trade number, and you are happy with the buy price of the new car, then it is a reasonable offer by the dealer.
