New to me GTS
My first 911. RL is a great resource, the Search button and receiving feedback was a big help.
I was all over the map since I sold my Panamera in the fall. Each generation/trim offered it's own pros/cons so I'd go back and forth all the time: the value of the 996 Turbo, comfort of 991.1, the top of the line 991.2 TTS, etc. I settled on the GTS for a number of reasons (all subjective based on my preferences):
- wide-body 997 is the nicest looking 911 (honorable mention to pre-993 WBs like the 964)
- 997 was the nexus between the “old” and the “new”
- Just couldn’t make myself like the 991 more “flattened” look
- RWD for traditional 911 feel
- N/A
- Etc.
Once I settled on the GTS, I knew I wanted 5 lug wheels because I wanted more options. So when one popped up a couple of weeks ago with 20K mi, I decided to pull the trigger.
I'll be updating this thread periodically as I make the GTS "mine". For now here's the option list. The pic at the top is the one I snapped after driving off the lot this weekend.

Nice! I would have held out for a 5 lug too.. its just trying to get the right color and 100% perfect specs was driving me absolutely mad. Good pick!
