Hi Bob - thank you so much for the information. A bit of a relief to be honest. The CPO factoid is great. I assume I can have what remains but will call Porsche to find out how that works. I am going to see the car on Friday and if it as represented will likely buy it. I have been looking for a very low mileage 997.2 GTS for a while. This is one of lowest mileage cars I have yet to see with good options. Sounds like I should do an oil change soon if I buy it. Again, many thanks for the prompt follow up. enjoy your GT3. Best, Jeff
Jeff,
The car is accident free and the condition all around is commensurate with mileage. I bought it from a dealer in Pennsylvania. The original owner had leased it from that dealership and returned it at lease end. He serviced it every year at the dealer and put around 1000 miles per year. I did not change the oil/filter because I traded it in and only drove it about 1500 miles. I had no accidents and stored it for the winter. I didn't even take it out in the rain. It was always garaged. There were no maintenance or any other issues.
The car is very clean. There wasn't even a scratch under the front spoiler. It does have a clear bra. It was CPO'ed when I bought it in Jan. 2015 so there should be some warranty remaining. I traded it in for a GT3 and Stephen Gardner, the sales manager, was easy to work with.
Overall, the car was fantastic but I really wanted a GT3 and couldn't keep both cars. Good luck.
