Yeah, it will work with both models. Not much if anything was changed in that area form .1 to .2

Hoping someone can clarify this for me.
I have a 997.1 with a center radiator. I want to add a smile vent and the related air duct.

Confusion:
Part #4 appears to be the radiator support. Since I already have the rad installed then I don't need this to just add the duct.
Is this correct or is #4 not really a rad support but some other piece supporting the air duct#11
Also looks like #12 is some attachment plug or clip, is that correct? Does it come with #11?

You need to order part #4 as the part number I listed above. On the drawing it shows it as the normal bottom venting part but there are two different part numbers, one for bottom and the other top. Part #12 I’m not sure about but I don’t think it’s required

I just finished an install of the radiator and ductwork from a GT3 for upward venting through the smile vent. I went with all used parts and were able to find those though both the Rennlist and Ebay. It did take a while, about 3-4 months to find used parts, and I had to buy a couple of small parts (retainer clips for hoses, and hoses) new, but that was a small amount. It ended up costing a little less than 400 bucks total, I really made some good "Make me an offer" deals on ebay.

So, here's the hard part if you don't have a GT3 bumper; I have an Aero Bumper and it took some trimming of the ductwork between the radiator and bumper cover, and I had to trim the sides of the radiator mount to allow the ductwork to fit. Finally there was some trimming of the trim pieces that slip over the inside of the bumper duct openings.

I found the best way was to start with the whole bumper cover fit over the ductwork and just take off bits at a time until the bumper came back into fit / alignment with the front of the car. It took me a day and then part of the next morning before everything was satisfactorily together.

I had initially plumbed in the radiator with the smile vent, and it did not make much difference on my oil temps, then I acquired the upper duct work and that seemed to help , but I still couldn't tell much. Finally with the addition of the lower radiator to bumper duct. There was a significant improvement. The oil temp reading yesterday as I drove to Phoenix and through the street traffic never went over 210 -215F. Prior to that, it was always hovering above the 220F+ range. This summer will really let me see me how much it helps.

I’m currently installing a GT3 front bumper. I have an extra of part number 8 if anyone needs
