Default New To Me: Atlas Gray 997.2 At The Beach

Heads up - this post has lots of photos!

First weekend with the car, took it up to one of my favorite spots to shoot in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.

This is my first Pcar, delivered sight-unseen from Georgia via Burt at Merit Partners and I love it. I'm still speechless about how great it is.

So blown away by how Atlas Gray can be so many different colors at once depending on time of day. Tried best to capture the color - so many different shades.

Would love to meet / shoot with other 997 owners in LA.

I got my first p-car 1.5 years ago, sight unseen from across the country as well (i drove it home though). Best car i've ever drivin or had.

Looks great and nice photos. Only thing you need to do is swap out those orange side markers.

Congrats.

Thanks! The place is actually right in LA, it's called Asilomar View Park... up in the Palisades, just north of Santa Monica: https://goo.gl/maps/XbAdZSyYGjn

Thanks! I may leave them, I actually like the orange and the gray/blue. I do want to get some black/grey cocoa mats to add contrast to the interior and some colored center crests.

Thank you! That combo on a C2S 997.2 is exactly what I was waiting so long for.

Thanks! Glad to be a part of it! I know - PDK was so good it seems harder to find the manuals.

Sweet ride, and congrats! Just make sure that you throw a SSK into that bad boy to REALLY make the most of your MT! Enjoy all that California sunshine as the rest of us have just recently taken off our snow tires now that we're finally heading into the summer months

@And88

Go further down the PCH into Malibu and hit the Mulholland Hwy, you will love the drive in the 997. During the week days, you can sometimes see manufacturer test cars and other high end sports cars
