Zimmermann don't have wear dimples either. To me it's not a big deal, besides, you don't need wear dimples to know when to replace you're rotors. You can just measure the thickness.

Update: I installed all new brake dampers front/rear. Squealing is ~80% better, but started squealing a little in DC traffic this morning. I've specifically read not to use brake paste/anti-squeal on the backs of the pads since the dampers have adhesive to stick to them. I may need to really re-bed them.

I use anti squeal rubbery paste stuff with PFC08 pads with great results - i.e I drive it around town too with no squeal!!
