Default The coolest wheels for a 997.

Im looking to buy a new set of wheels for my 997. What do you guys think is the "coolest" set of wheels for our cars?

Right now i own 02 sets (OEM SPORT DESIGNS and RAYS VOLK TE37 SL Porsche Fitment) but im not 100% satisfied about the looks!

What do you guys suggest?

OZ, BBS, AVANTGARDE, HRE, ROTIFORM, FIFTEEN52??

The AVANTGARDE MESH are similar to the RG 57 Monolite. The Turbo´s are not my cup of tea. I was thinking on the M510 Avantgarde...something like this:

Those are nice. Don't care for the stance though.

These could look neat especially on a silver car given the polished lip. Selling these Champion wheels/tire combo... Made for 997 cars with perfect offset and no spacers needed. Light weight well made wheels...

Here they are on my black car...

Bbs cup wheels, bbs fi wheels, bbs e88. Cannot be beaten for classic looks and performance.

I actually like your car with the sport designs much better than the Ray's. I have the same wheels. Think about getting them painted your body color with a nice machined lip (then clear everything).
I just had my sport designs powdered black, then a carrara white stripe around the edge, then cleared. They look awesome and transformed the look of my car. I never liked the OEM finish of these wheels with a white car.
Edit - ohh yeah, I forgot to mention I switched to Hawk ceramic pads at the same time I refinished the wheels. The sport designs are a pain to clean but so far I have no dusting with these pads.

Your wheels look great (though I'd hate to wash the top ones!). The ones you will want are the ones you don't have.

The "coolest" wheels are the ones that you like and rock. There is no official scale for coolness. If you like a set of wheels than they are cool to you. The most uncool thing is to ask strangers on the internet what they think is cool so you can do that.

Just my .02.

I am partial to the classic BBS look, and have had them on two Porsches. These are the forged LM R version, with gold plastic coated centers, in 19 inch.

all the best...
