Track
Hi, I was just wondering where do you guys take your cars on Track or Motor Cross. I would like to get put my car in action since driving on the freeway does not give me the rush I want. I live in Southern California in Los Angeles. is there a website with all these information. Thank you

Sign up for the Porsche Club of America (www.pca.org)! They run fantastic track and autocross events. I've run with the local PCA region in the SF Bay Area several times and they never disappoint. I've also heard good things about Hooked On Driving, and will be going to Thunderhill Raceway with them in December.

Join your local PCA and search their site. The LA Chapter runs at Buttonwillow (great track off of the 5), Willow Springs, and Fontana I believe. I will offer a word of caution.... it's very addictive and dreams of GT3's and mods will take over your life. Hopefully your wife is understanding :-)

Three Wheelin'
I'd love to see a hopped up 911 on a Motor Cross circuit. LOL Instead of most guys lowering an inch or so, raise the car by 4ft and install monster shocks.
Autcross - dodging cones in a parking lot against time. The lowest time in your class wins you bragging rights and maybe a chicken dinner.
HPDE - High Performance Drivers Education is where you'll need to start if youve never been on track.
My local PCA runs a Novice day in the spring. Not sure how things are done in sunny CA considering you probably don't have an "off season".
Checkout Clubregistration.net and motorsportreg. Lots of clubs/groups use these registration sites to let folks signup and its a good way to see what is scheduled in your area.
