Yeah I think the only thing missing on that is full leather (which does matter quite a bit IMO). Can't speak to the sport adaptive seats though, my 09 C4S has comfort seats and they're okay.

Appreciate the feedback. It doesn't check all the boxes for me so I'll pass and wait for the next one.

What was it about the car that made your pass?

Are you sure you can live with the comfort seats? The sport adaptive seats really fit the character of the 6-speed cars, especially if the car will see spirited driving (which it totally should).
For a CPO car??? $44-$46??? Good luck finding that. Most 997.2 CPO coupes, especially if manual and decent color schemes, are going to well over $50k.

If this is truly a clean CPO car with no damage, manual and white over black, it may move quickly at $55k. I wouldn't be surprised to see it priced higher depending on location. The only issue here is higher mileage, but 997.2 S/4S coupes with 80k to 90k miles are being priced in the $50ks.

I prefer comfort seats now after having many 996tts and 997tts with sport seats. They have plenty of support and I also want ventilation.

If you like, don't hesitate. CPO cars can move very quickly.

I have never really understood the full leather thing. That is just me. I could care less about it and more concerned about performance based options, wheels and paint and interior colors. If a car I like has full leather, great. If it does not, I have never once thought I wished I had it. The GTS I just purchased does not have full leather and the interior looks clean and incredible IMO for a 7 year-old car. I am not looking at interior pieces when I drive that what I bought it for.

Agreed, if it's CPO'd I would expect $56k +/- $3k.

Yeah that's totally fair - I'll be the first to admit I'm very much a "creature comforts" guy and less a "max performance/track" guy, to the point that I was seriously considering the 991 since it was much more GT-like. In the end I still went with a 997 because of the size - I was coming from an ND Miata and the 997 already felt fat to me, never mind the 991.

I agree that full leather is definitely one of those things that you either really care about or you don't care about at all.

Just put a deposit down. CPO work is being finished and looks like it will be certified with 2yrs unlimited miles. The sale associate also mentioned that there is a range 6 over rev. Should I be concerned even though it's getting a fresh CPO? Thanks everyone. This will be my first P-Car!

How do they CPO that? I was told by two different dealers that single digits in range 4 was acceptable.

That overrev might be an issue or might not. Get the report and post here and we can help you.

Somebody money-shifted that car about 52 hours of operation ago.

I would walk away if it were me but the engine should be OK due to over 50 hours of operation since the money shift.

Either way, that's a shame.

Good luck with the car...
