I talked to to the dealer on this. First accident in 2014 had a $28k repair estimate - it all seemed to be front body parts and labor. Message me if you want a copy of the repair estimate.

Give the type of car, one would think that they would be able to take better photos.

Oh man, that color is hideous. Still worth seeing if you could purchase low enough to a put a high quality wrap on the car to make it black.

What do you guys think is a good price for 09 Targa 4S white with cocoa brown interior, PDK, 50K miles. MSRP of around $120K

Right or wrong, Targas carry a price premium. There is a lower mileage 2012 that is CPO for $60k. I would get a Targa if it was a special build such as that guys red with black interior that had red stiching, red dials, red seat belts and some carbon fibre.

I love the 991 Targas, but I think the 997.2 Targa should sell for about the same price a clean convertible or couple + 3K.

If services are good, no paintwork, and wear items are 80% or better, perhaps low $60s unless you just gotta have a Targa are willing to pay more.

Thanks Doug! I agree, 997 Targa are not as cool as 991. Crazy thing is I looked up history of the car, and it was advertised for $59K back in 2015 with 35K miles! Crazy how prices did not change in 3 years.

doesnt really surprise me as 997.2s are really holding value well. With the mileage, maybe upper $50k. Seems like premium is placed on price on cars with low 40k miles or less and then at 50k it suddenly becomes, at least psychologically, a high mileage car as far as price premium is concerned.

911s are weird. If you have specific needs like aero kit, Targa or etc., you will be willing to pay a fat premium for it. If you are just wanting a 911 and aero kit or Targa is not a huge deal, then those cars aren’t worth the premium to that buyer.

This car does have rashes and I think it reflects on the price. He does have the latest service done with documents so that is a huge plus. Regarding the 123k high mileage, I feel if this car can only reach 200k miles until something major breaks down then it's not worth paying over $34k since you only have 77k miles of usage left. Now if this car can do 250k miles without major issues then it would be worth the asking price. The big question here is how long will this car go without a major break down?

Apparently, the seller doesn’t disagree given the price. That car would have a very small market unwrapped, like a market of 1 person perhaps.
