PSM was standard on all as was PASM. LSD was available as a standalone option or as part of the optional Sport version of PASM (SPASM?).

That would be a lot more labor than anyone would find reasonable. My $14K replacement (covered by extended warranty) took place 2 1/2 years ago so prices have obviously come down.

Had pdk replaced on my '09 carrera S. Full msrp is $14k. Warranty price is like $10k and then the core exchange reduces that by roughly $3k. I got some additional goodwill from the dealer (sent them $600k of referrals) for a final price of $7300 all in (pca discount included). That's how you get from $14k to a more palatable number, even though $7-8k is still tough to swallow.

What my warranty company actually paid I guess we'll never know but my receipt from the dealer was for just shy of $14K so maybe that's what they paid.....with a core exchange.

Picked the car up and love the new transmission. Seems so much tighter than the original.

Congrats! Mine replacement unit just got to the shop from Germany yesterday. I'm having a number of other things done (PWR radiators, tune, alignment) and am hoping it will be ready the end of next week. Have a great Thanksgiving.
